Belmorso Turnip Tops
A nutritious sauce great for those with a busy lifestyle. Bursting with flavour this sauce is a great compliment to white meat or fish dishes; or as a quick, easy but very nourishing vegetarian meal with Orecchiette or Farfalle Allegre pasta.
How to use:
Heat sauce slowly in a saucepan, mix with pasta and serve.
Alternatively - add the pesto to a mixture of finely chopped onions, celery, capers, anchovies and hot pepper;
sauté together in olive oil; allowing the ingredients to infuse and enhance the flavour of the turnip.
Mix with pasta and serve. This is a traditional recipe with a strong flavour and persistent aroma of turnips.
