Nocellara Messinese Olives are typical from the sunny Sicily. Differently from the Etna's Nocellara that is tipicaly green, this olive is pink and takes its name from Messina, where these olives are widely grown.
They are especially great for aperitif, because of the delicate and slightly fizzy taste that makes them pair well with many drinks.
They are also delicious in salads, and antipasti platters. Of course, you can also use them for cooking pasta and main courses.
