Before the term 'pasta' became universal, 'Maccheroni' was one of the prevalent ways to refer to it? This term was used to refer to any pasta made by mixing durum wheat semolina and water, no matter the shape.

Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil, add salt and the pasta. Cook the pasta, drain and dress with one of our delicious sauces or pesto's. Cooking time: 10-15 mins.
